Do you have Anatolian puppies for sale? - To check the availability of puppies please see our Available Anatolian Shepherds section. We do not breed often so it is important to get on the waiting list immediately.

When do you plan to have Anatolian Shepherd puppies? - Please check our breeding plans for up to date information on the availability of puppies.

When can I take my puppy home? - Puppies will go home after 8 weeks and evaluation for type and temperament, a full health check and their last immunizations (or nosodes).

Do you sell puppies for house pets? - Yes, puppies that meet the temperament testing for suitable companion animals will be sold to approved homes. If you are a first time Anatolian Owner you will be required to go over our booklet in detail and answer some questions. If you are a first time dog owner we will discuss this at length. An Anatolian Shepherd may not be the best breed for a new dog owner.

Do you sell Anatolian puppies for working homes?- Absolutely! We want to see the working Anatolian Shepherd Dog preserved and those dogs meeting the correct temperament type for the work involved will be sold to such homes.

How do I buy an Anatolian Shepherd puppy from you? - Please visit our Available Anatolian Shepherds section to see if we have puppies available, what our future breeding plans are and then proceed to the puppy application page. You can also read a much more detailed explanation of the purchase process.

What is a puppy questionnaire? - Think of it like an interview, we will have a list of questions for you to answer that help us determine what puppy is right for you and what considerations we should make in placement. Every person wanting a puppy or dog will be required to fill one out and return it before we will accept the waiting list fee and before any deposit or purchase is made.

Why do I have to pay a waiting list fee? - The waiting list fee holds your place in line for a planned litter. Those on the waiting list fee will get puppy placement first in order of the waiting list. If we have more puppies than waiting list members, or puppies do not fit the needs of those on the waiting list, we may make them available. If you want the best chance to get a puppy get on the waiting list.

What is the cost of a puppy? - Pup prices will be announced when we are closer to having our first litter. Please inquire if you have questions.

Do you ship your puppies? - Yes, we do but please inquire about costs and requirements.

Will my Anatolian puppy be AKC registered? - Yes, your pup will be registered with the AKC.

Will my Anatolian Shepherd be UKC registered? - Yes, most pups will also be UKC registered.

Can I breed my Anatolian Shepherd? - Only approved homes will be eligible to beed their Anatolian Shepherd. We will only place pups of a quality suitable for breeding in such homes. Breeder quality pups will cost more than pet quality. All pet quality pups will come with a spay/neuter agreement.

Can I show my Anatolian Shepherd puppy? - Many pups will be sold as pets that are show quality. If you'd like to show please let us know, we'd love to have our pups shown if they meet the standard.

What are your requirements for puppy buyers? - We expect our puppy buyers to dedicate themselves to their new puppies, call or email us with updates and questions, to always tell us immediately if there are any problems, love and cherish their dogs and take proper care of them. We will have a contract for our puppies that protects the puppy and outlines the responsibilites you have towards your puppy and to us, as well as our obligations to you and to your puppy. We take being a responsible breeder very seriously and we will be here for the lifetime of each and every puppy we produce. What if I cannot keep my puppy? - If you cannot keep your puppy you must contact us immediately and we will make arrangements with you to take the puppy back and/or help to find a new home for the puppy. The contract you sign will require that you do this. Under no circumstances is any Pendraig Anatolian Shepherd Dog to be resold, given way, abandoned, left at a shelter or pound, traded or donated without our written consent.

Can I pick out my own puppy? - Your puppy will be carefully matched to your home, personality and needs based on temperament testing of the puppy and the questionnaire, and interviews. We will do our utmost best to provide a puppy of the color and gender you requested. Because puppies personalities are best assessed by the breeder it will not be possible for you to pick your puppy out unless more than one fits your needs and is available.

Do you have a health guarantee? - Yes, we do. Please see the Diet & Care Requirements for information about the health guarantees we offer and how to qualify for them.

Can I get more than one puppy at a time? - In some cases yes but we will discuss this with you on an individual basis. Homes getting their first Anatolian Shepherd or their first dog will be encouraged to get one pup at a time so that you can spend the time needed to properly train and socialize your pup and learn to be a good owner before another puppy is added to the mix. For successful homes we offer a discounted price on a second puppy purchased later.
